Courses and Ski technique:
30 km or 15 km, both in easy terrain. Refreshment stations along the course. Classic technique.
Start:
30 km: Mass start at 9.00 am 15 km: Wave start from Birkebeineren Ski Stadium, first wave at 11.00 am. The first wave 40-80 min time-keeping is seeded.
Finish:
Birkebeineren Ski Stadium at both courses.
Who may enter:
Women 12 years and over. For 30 km and classes with timekeeping in the 15 km: 16 years and over.
Classes:
Entrants wishing no time-keeping may register for the 15 km, where they make up one class irrespective of age. Both in the 30 km and the 15 km there are six age classes with time-keeping: 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, 71-75, 76-80 and older than 80 years.
Starting order:
Entrants must specify course – 30 km or 15 km. Entrants for no-timing classes (15 km) must estimated finishing time, as this decides the wave allocation. Entrants that want to ski together must register as a group (with estimated finishing time) and will be placed in the same wave. Fee for changing startpossision NOK 150.-
Awards:
Completed race will be honoured with a bronze pin, with year inscribed. Five completed races qualify for a golden pin, ten for a statuette. Golden pins must be picked up in the finish area and will not be mailed. In the no-timing classes prizes will be drawn, one prize for every 25 participant. In the time-keeping classes the 3 top skiers in each class will be awarded. Special prizes in both courses for the first skiers to reach Mesnasaga and to cross the finish line. Prizes not collected will not be mailed.
Entry fees: Registration before September 20th:

Registration is not final until payment has been received. Entries are binding and will not be refunded. You may not start using another entrant’s start number.

Accomodation:
Accomodation should be booked directly to your hotel. See our website.
Transport:
On race day free transportation from race office or accommodation booked through organizer to Birkebeiner Ski Stadium. Parking fee NOK 50.-
Cultural:
Informal cultural acitivties at the stadium, in the city and along the course with the variety of offers. Licenced products are available.
